Dog Days was a hophead favourite when it was released as our last Summer Seasonal. The message from our fans was loud and clear: you wanted this beer year round. And quite frankly we couldn’t get enough of it either. So we’ve listened and brought Dog Days back FOR GOOD. And for the first time in Little Creatures history, we put our beer in a can.
A fine beer – crisp, clean, refreshing and hoppy. Pours a straw yellow colour with a rocky white head, with tropical hop aromas waft thickly out of the glass. The peachy, juicy-fruit hop flavours marry nicely with the wheat malt. In terms of bitterness, it’s firm, but not so intense that it overwhelms the light malt character.
Did you know? Dog Days was named after the brightest star in the summer sky...

We’re obsessed with hops and throw bag-loads of whole hop flowers into our beers at different stages of the brewing process.
We care deeply about your tastebuds and their satisfaction, so we constantly push ourselves to brew the most consistent, tasty beer possible.
Just like all fresh ingredients, we source our hops based on seasonality, working with growers here at home, in NZ and as far afield as the United States.
Well, who else really? From the beer to the way we pour a pint, brewers lead everything we do. And rightly so.
